The adored fan favorite comes to an end in November after an incredible 11-year run with the highest viewership numbers in history. However, Orange Comet's official Walking Dead 3D Avatar collection, which debuted on October 5, continues the lineage.

Explanation of The Walking Dead 3D Avatar Mints
Two distinct and virtually simultaneous mints will be included in the upcoming Walking Dead Avatar Mint:
- Walker Access Pass holders and the broader crypto public may use the Public Mint.
- Walker Access Pass holders only, with a 1-to-1 rarity match; Exclusive Tiered Mint
Each avatar will have a different character with a random appearance and five different rarity levels, from legendary to common. At a later time, the NFTs' characteristics and rarity will be made known.
The sole way to access the Public and Exclusive Tiered mints will be through the Metamask Wallet. If you don't already have one, follow these simple instructions to set one up.
Government Mint
The first Avatar 3D collection will honor the show's iconic cast of characters, which includes Michonne and her pets, Mercer, Rick Grimes, Carol Peletier, Daryl Dixon, and different Commonwealth and CRM warriors. There will be 5,000 NFTs available, each with a different rarity and mint price of $80.00. (Equivalent to ETH on the day of mint).
All Walker Pass Holders whose wallets are in the snapshot will receive a 0.02ETH reduction off the Public Mint Price during this time for all Walker Access Pass Holders on the Allow List.

- For people who have five or more Walker Access Passes, there is a 24-hour mint window before the public mint period.
Can I still obtain a Walker Access Pass and how does a Tiered Mint operate?
A Tierred mint is a guaranteed rarity mint where NFTs are only produced for Walker Access Pass owners and are based on the pass's rarity. The 24-hour "Allow List" mint of the public mint will coexist side by side with the Exclusive Mint. At a mint price of $80.00, 5,000 NFTs of various rarities will be made available (Equivalent to ETH on day of mint).
Holders of passes can only mint the number of NFTs depending on the number of Walker Access Passes they possess in a certain wallet that is included in the Snapshot at this Exclusive Avatar Tiered Mint, which is a one-to-one mint (the date given when Orange Comet records the ownership of NFTs and creates an allow list of the wallets holding these specific NFTs at that point in time). The mint's cost will be determined by the Avatar Public Price (without the discount found during the Allow List period seen in the Public mint.) The mint is unquestionably a rare mint.
Orange Comet no longer offers the Walker Access Pass, but you can still purchase one on the secondary market. On March 3, 2022, 5,000 permits were made available, and they were rapidly sold out the same day. The project's success has largely been attributed to the pass. Holders of Walker Access Passes are entitled to additional advantages, such as cheaper pre-minting of any NFTs.
The allow list snapshot will take place on Monday, October 3, 2022, at noon Pacific. It is advised that you get a Walker Access Pass as soon as possible from OpenSea if you do not already have one and wish to take part in the Allow List mint.
